Fredericksburg’s Gone to the Dogs Charity

Fredericksburg’s Gone to the Dogs Charity (FGTTD) is a registered non profit (501 c3 ) animal welfare charity organization dedicated to raising needed money for local non profit animal welfare organizations, educating the public about animal welfare issues, and improving the local economy of the area through our efforts.  The leadership of FGTTD is provided by area businessmen and women with the goal of making Fredericksburg a preferred destination for dog related events.

Profits from the organization’s efforts each year (less some cash flow for trailing year fund raisers) will be distributed to worthy organizations via a grant program.  FGTTD is a 100% volunteer organization with no paid employees.  It is the philosophy of FGTTD that expenses be minimized in order to maximize the yearly profits available for grants to worthy organizations.  Accounting statements from FGTTD will be readily available for scrutiny by any credible concern.

Qualified non profits are requested to submit a formal proposal for a grant to FGTTD office at 4730 Wallace Lane, Fredericksburg, Virginia by no later than December 31st of each year (see link at Apply for Grant).  The size and scope of grants may vary from year to year based on the amount of money made available by fund raisers and donations.
